What Ready-To-Go is

U-Haul rents you reusable plastic moving boxes for your move. Check the current program and the boxes' handling requirements with the location you plan to use.

Before booking, confirm collection and return arrangements with your chosen U-Haul location. Ask whether you must collect the boxes yourself, where returns are accepted, what hours apply, and whether delivery or pickup is available. Confirm current terms and total price before booking.

What the driving actually costs

If your rental requires collection and return, allow for those trips, store hours, and enough vehicle space for the empty containers.

The time involved depends on the location, traffic, number of containers, and your vehicle. Include it when comparing options.

What delivery + pickup buys you

This is the entire Geaux model: the crates come to you, and the crates leave without you.

• Before the move: crates are delivered to your door at the scheduled delivery time, so you can plan packing around their arrival.
• After the move: you stage the empty crates by the door and we pick them up. Follow the manufacturer's stacking instructions and keep doors and walkways clear.
• In between: one dolly per 10 crates, moving labels included, first 15 miles of each delivery and pickup trip included (then a $2/mile distance charge), across our Houston service area.

First-week rental prices run $139–$399 depending on size (10 to 100 crates). The 10-crate, one-week rental also has a $4.15 small-order fee, for a $143.15 total before applicable distance charges, tax, and optional supplies. Extra weeks are separate. Paid in full at booking, no deposit.
